Rushguard - Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-07

This policy explains what data the mobile game Rushguard ("the game") processes, why, and what your rights are. The data controller is Paweł Ogryzek. You can reach us through the contact form or contact@paologames.com.

1. Progress on your device

Your progress (completed levels, ratings, gold, stars, upgrades, purchased items and settings) is always saved on your device.

2. Cloud backup with Google Play Games

If you are signed in to Google Play Games on your device, the game uses it to back up your progress automatically, without asking you to sign in again. For this we receive from Google only your Google Play Games player ID for this game. We do not receive your email address, name or any other information from your Google account.

We link the player ID to a game account in our backend and store your game progress there, so you can restore it after changing or resetting your phone. The account also has a short account ID, shown in the game's Settings, which you can give us when you contact us.

If you are not signed in to Google Play Games, or you turn it off, the game works normally and your progress stays only on your device. You can also delete your game account at any time (section 8).

Your account and your game progress are stored with our backend provider Supabase, which processes the data on our behalf. We do not use this data for advertising and we do not sell it.

3. Advertising

The game shows ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device information and information about ad interactions. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown; you can change your choice at any time in the game. Without consent, only non-personalized ads are shown. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

4. Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We never see your payment details. We receive only a confirmation of what was bought, which we use to deliver the purchased items and, if your progress is backed up, to keep them on your game account.

When you have a game account (section 2), each purchase is also checked with Google Play on our server, so that purchased items cannot be faked or claimed twice. For this we store a purchase record linked to your game account: the product ID, the Google Play order ID, the purchase token, whether it was a test purchase, and the purchase date. The record contains no payment or card details.

5. Who receives the data

  • Supabase - hosting of game accounts and backed-up progress, on our behalf. This data is stored in the European Union (Ireland).
  • Google - Google Play Games (player ID), ads (AdMob) and purchases (Google Play).

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Data sent between the game and our servers is encrypted in transit, and each account can access only its own data.

6. Legal bases

  • Providing the game, your account and backups - performance of a contract.
  • Personalized ads - your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Non-personalized ads and fraud prevention, including checking purchases with Google Play - our legitimate interest.

Cloud backup is voluntary; without Google Play Games you can still play the whole game. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

7. How long we keep data

Account data, backed-up progress and purchase records are kept until you delete your account. Data stored only on your device is removed when you uninstall the game or clear its data.

If you stop playing without deleting your account, we delete it automatically, together with all data linked to it, after 24 months without any activity (signing in or saving progress). For accounts with in-app purchases this period is 5 years. After that, heroes and features bought with real money can still be restored from Google Play with Restore purchases in the game; star packs are used up when bought and cannot be restored.

8. Deleting your account

You can request deletion of your account and all data linked to it at any time - see Delete your account. Deletion in the game's Settings happens immediately; requests sent to us are completed within 30 days.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and export your data, to object to its processing and to withdraw consent. To exercise them, use the contact form or contact@paologames.com. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority - in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

10. Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

If you are under the age of digital consent in your country (16 in Poland, between 13 and 16 elsewhere in the EU), ask a parent or guardian before agreeing to personalised ads. You can turn them off at any time in Settings > Ad privacy settings, and the game works the same without them. Parents can ask us to delete a player's data through the contact form or contact@paologames.com.

11. Changes

We will update this page when the way the game processes data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
